1.3.1        Uploading, transmitting or distribution of any content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene or infringes upon intellectual property rights.

1.3.2        Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Maraka’s system or interfere with its functionality.

1.3.3        Engaging in spamming, phishing or any other form of unauthorized advertising.

1.3.4        Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.

1.3.5        Collect or store personal data of others without their consent.

1.3.6        Transmit and viruses, malware or harmful code that may damage or compromise the security of the platform or other users’ devices.

1.3.7        Engaging in any activity that may cause harm or disruption to Maraka or its users.

2.      Product listing and transactions:

2.1   Product listings: As a seller on Maraka, you are responsible for accurately describing your product and ensuring that all information, including pricing, availability and shipping details is up to date and correct. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations concerning the sales and shipment of your products.

2.2   Transactions and Payment: Maraka provides a platform for buyers and sellers to connect, but we are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. All transactions and payments are conducted directly with the parties involved. Maraka is not responsible for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from these transactions.

2.3   Maraka reserves the right to suspend or remove any product listings or accounts that violates these terms, Maraka’s policies or applicable laws.

3.      Intellectual property:

3.1   Ownership: Maraka and its content, including but not limited to logos, trademark, images, text and software are the property of Made in Nigeria Entrepreneur Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You agree not to use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any copyrighted material without obtaining the necessary permissions.

3.2   User content: By uploading or posting any content on Maraka, you grant Maraka a non-exclusive, royalty free and perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, modify, distribute and adapt the content for the purpose of operating and promoting Maraka.

4.      Disclaimer of Liability:

4.1   Platform availability: Maraka strives to provide an uninterrupted access to its platform but does not guarantee that it will be available at all times. We are not liable for any disruption, technical issues, or loss of data that might occur.

4.2   Third party content and link: Maraka may contain links to third party websites or content. These links are provided for convenience only, and Maraka does not endorse or assume any responsibility for the accuracy, legality or quality of the content on these third party sites.

4.3   Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maraka, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents shall not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected to the use of Maraka.

5.      Termination:

5.1   Maraka may terminate or suspend your access to the platform in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.

5.2   Upon termination, you shall cease all use of the Platform, and these terms will survive with respect to any obligations or liabilities that may have arisen prior to termination.

6.      Modification and Termination:

6.1   Maraka reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions of use at any time without prior notice. Continued use of Maraka after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7.      Governing Laws and Jurisdiction:

These Terms and Conditions of use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
