Return Policy for Maraka E-commerce

This Return Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions for returning products purchased on Maraka.ng E-commerce marketplace (“Maraka”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We strive to provide a seamless shopping experience and we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Policy explains the process for returning products and seeking refunds or exchange.

1)     Return Eligibility              

a.      To be eligible for return the product must be unused, undamaged and its original condition with all tags, labels and packaging intact.

b.      Certain products such as perishable goods, personalized items, and digital download may not eligible for return. Please check the product description or contact us for specific return eligibility information.

2)     Initiation of return

a.      If you wish to return a product, you must initiate the return of the product within (7 days) from the day of product delivery.

b.      To initiate a return, please go to your Maraka account, go to the order history section, select the product you wish to return and follow the instructions provided.

c.      Provide the relevant information about the reason for the return, and provide supporting documentation or images

3)     Return Authorization and shipping

a.      After initiating a return, you will receive further instructions via email.

b.      Please ensure that the package is securely packaged to prevent damage during shipping. You will be responsible for cost of shipping, unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect product shipped by Maraka.

c.      We recommend using a trackable shipping method and obtaining proof of shipment for your items you are returning. Maraka is not responsible for any items lost or damaged during the return shipping process

4)     Evaluation and Refund/exchange

a.      Once we receive the returned product, our team will evaluate its condition and eligibility for a refund or exchange.

b.      If the product meet the return eligibility criteria, we will process a refund into either your Maraka wallet or into your bank account that is in our record or provide an exchange as per your request.

c.      Refunds may take up to 14 days after you initiate the refund process to be processed. Exchanges will be shipped to you within a reasonable timeframe.

5)     Non-returnable and final sales item

a.      Certain products such as clearance items, intimate apparels, customized items or products sold as “final sale, are non returnable. Please check the product description or contact us for specific information regarding to non returnable items.

6)     Damaged, defective or incorrect products

a.      If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, please contact us immediately or within 7 days of delivery.

b.      We may require you to provide photographic evidence or return the product for evaluation before issuing a refund, exchange or replacement.

7)     Limitations and Exclusions

a.      Maraka reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not comply with this Policy or abuse the return process.

b.      We are not liable for any damage or loss resulting from misuse, improper handling or unauthorized modification of the product after delivery.

8)     Changes to the Return Policy

a.      We may update the return policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the revised policy on Maraka.ng or by other means of communications.
